I have found a new app it calls Hide Whatsapp Status https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hide.whatsappstatus&hl=es which let you chaat with people but anybody can see that your are on line or your last conexion, it is just 5MB and it doesn't desconect mobile data! wonderfull 🙂

but you can try this
1. Open Gb settings
2. click on Main/Chat screen option
3. select’contact online toast’
4. Tick ‘show contact Online Toast’
then you will see a pop up notification when someone comes online
I am not able to find option of custom privacy and global priavcy in gb whatsapp’s 4.81 version

How to Upgrade from GBWhatsapp v4.91 to v5.00 without complete New Instal? I cant Just Update GBWhatsapp, it always Instals a secondary Version of it without any data .. and Backups wont work either, so that i have to install it completely New and all Chats and everything gets lost…is there anything i do wrong? Does someone have a Solution for me?
The reason is that you installed a different version of GBWhatsApp with different package name

if the time is 9AM and if the last seen is at 8:55AM,it will show as ‘Seen at 8:55AM’
when this setting is active,it will show as active 5 minutes ago.

I love GBWA. But:
1. Seems the messages I send/receive and their notification ate not as smooth nor as speedy as the original WA app. Often much worse. Please fix that.
2. I’d love to get rid of status and its tab, and get back Contacts on the tab. Can GBWA do that?

GBWhatsapp has more code compared to original Whatsapp. maybe thats why its a little bit slower. however, i dont face any such issues in my phone.
If you want to get rid of the status tab (I hate that too 😛 ). you can hide this by following these steps.
1. Go to GB Settings
2. go to (6) other Modes
3. Select (6.8) Show contacts tab instead of status tab

how to extend the tap duration to unhide chats ?
like i want to keep it pressed for 5 or more seconds so, not anyone will be able to see there’s hidden something there.. by accidentally touching there.
A small bubble keeps telling me when people are typing in a chat can I turn that off cause it’s annoying me!?
